When it comes to passing the time away, most people have one thing in common: They enjoy watching a good movie. However, there are tons of movies that you can watch, so which one do you choose? Typically, most people like watching action movies – they provide an adrenaline rush, invoke the senses and get the blood pumping. Another common favorite is a movie that involves swords. Nothing beats a good duel – they’re fun to watch, and it’s pretty awesome to see 2 people go head to head. Ninjas and ancient world movies come to mind; with favorites being Kill Bill, 300, Prince of Persia Clash of the Titans and various anime shows.
What about suspense/action films? These seem to be coming out fairly regularly – and it’s no surprise. With films like Inception, Taken and the Bourne movies, they’re kinda hard NOT to watch these good movies when you’re bored.
Heck, we almost forget a huge one – science fiction action. It may not be everyone’s “cup of tea” but what’s cool about these is the fact that they break the mold of typical “real world” movies. Just think: millions of people watched the Star Wars movies. They also enjoyed movies like Transformers, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, Men in Black and Avatar.
The last set of action movies we could think of was racing. There are more racing movies out now than ever. These movies may not have the huge special effects of the movies mentioned above, yet they still seem to have their place with people. Some of the best ones are The Fast and the Furious, Death Race and Speed Racer (man, I wish I had some of the cars in those movies!).
